Basic Identification of Ammunition in Ukraine Version 4.0

The Bomb Techs Without Borders Ukraine branch was featured in a recent article in The Economist Espresso about our work on the updated version of the manual of Basic Identification of Ammunition in Ukraine. This manual is built in partnership with the EOD of the Ukrainian 8th SOF Regiment, State Emergency Services of Ukraine (DSNS), and National Police of Ukraine. Version 4.0 features over 900 pages of images and information on munitions confirmed to be in Ukraine and is published with both Ukrainian and English editions side by side to improve the ability of both international and Ukrainian EOD technicians and deminers to work together.

An important tool in helping people recognize explosive hazards and prevent injury in dangerous situations, the guide is available to anyone and everyone who may need it for free download through our partner Bulletpicker LLC.

New versions are being continuously built and are published every few months after a significant number of updates are made.
